Mountains falls is conveniently located off Highway 64 at 20 Resorts Blvd, Lake Toxaway, NC. As you approach the RV resort, however, the elevation changes quite a bit making portions of the road curvy. If you’re coming from the North, for instance, the road is rather tight the last seven miles to the resort. From the south, the case is no different. There’s a 17-mile stretch of a twisty turn of mountain passes that calls for slow speed, caution, and patience to maneuver. Be wary of bridge heights as some are too low for the motorcoach to pass. Some of the routes to avoid include 215, 178, 276 and Hwy 64E from Franklin to Lake Toxaway.
