Central Coast

California’s Central Coast

With unbelievable views and fabulous wine, this area has retained a laid-back lifestyle, so no need to rush. California’s Central Coast boasts over 250 wineries over two major wine grape-growing regions—Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo. With over 40 wine grape varieties in “Slo-Cal,” this area produces many internationally acclaimed wines that can be sampled at more that 100 tasting rooms.

Two major viticultural areas – Arroyo Grande and Edna Valley – make up this region. Paso Robles, or simply “Paso,” although known best for its wine, is also home to olive orchards, farms and hot springs. Visit downtown San Luis Obispo, where downtown bustle meets stunning views of the crashing sea. And with vineyards just a few miles from pristine beaches, this area boasts many outdoor activities like hiking and biking.

But we’re here for the wine! Visit Sinor LaVallee Winery where the focus is on Albarino, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinor Noir, and Syrah. With a sleek, modern tasting room just one block from the ocean, you cannot pass by without stopping for a taste.

Napa Valley & Sonoma Valley

In a state renowned across the globe for its wine, Northern California’s Napa and Sonoma Valleys are incomparable.  Napa Valley

Let’s dive in with Napa Valley, where a combination of history and extraordinary climate has helped this area become one of the world’s leading wine regions. And not only does Napa Valley have incredible wine, but it also offers world-class dining and stunning natural beauty. With so many wineries in Napa, one way to explore is by traveling on the Napa Valley Wine Train, described as not just a train, but a journey in a luxuriously vintage setting. However, just one tour won’t do, so plan on doing a few others as well. For specific winery tours, click here.

Drive down a dirt road to enjoy casual outdoor dining or visit Sonoma Plaza and appreciate the unique old-school charm this town has to offer. Or for a truly one-of-a-kind experience, float above the vineyards, fields, streams and creeks on a hot air balloon ride.
